Program: The goals
of this 1½ day course are to
provide the participant with the
following skills:
- Information and strategies for
preventing cardiopulmonary
arrest in infants and children
- Information for recognizing
the infant or child at risk of
cardiopulmonary arrest
- The cognitive and psychomotor
skills necessary for
resuscitating the infant or
child victim of cardiopulmonary
arrest
This course is extended to health
care providers with
responsibilities for the well
being of infants and children;
i.e.: pediatricians, house staff,
emergency physicians, nurses and
paramedics.
Prerequisites: Each
student must supply a photocopy of
his/her current BCLS or CPR for
Healthcare Provider certification.
Tuition: $290.00
(includes textbook, course packet,
lunch and refreshments); $240.00
with NO textbook. Refund is
permitted only if cancellation is
confirmed at least two weeks prior
to course, less cost of
registration fee of $25.00.
Re-certification:
You may re-certify in PALS by
attending on the second day of the
course only. In order to
re-certify you must supply a copy
of your current PALS cards.
Tuition fee for re-certification
is $240.00 with textbook; $190.00
with NO textbook.
